Meet Danielle Mason! Danielle joined the Pax team in March of 2020 as a biologist. Fast forward to 2024, and she is a married mother of two!

As a company that values work-life balance, Pax understands the importance of supporting our employees during significant, transitional periods in their lives.

Here’s what Danielle shared with us:

“My husband (an Ojai local) and I met just two months after I moved to town from Virginia. He worked with Patagonia at the time, and shortly after hitting it off at a Salmonid restoration film event at Great Pacific Iron Works (GPIW), we started dating.

Entering motherhood early in my career initially scared me, but since having children, I have learned to appreciate work not only as an outlet and a source of purpose and fulfillment for myself but also as a chance to demonstrate responsibility and commitment to my family.”

As a mother of two, Danielle is proud of her little ones.

“Ray, (almost) 2 years old, is a Toy Story maniac, having sat through the first movie at just 10 months old and even dressing up as Buzz Lightyear for Halloween.

Rowan, 5 months old, adores his big sister Ray, who can make him laugh like no one else. He's in the 90th percentile for height and weight, and Dad is already jokingly planning his NFL career. Remarkably, Rowan has been sleeping through the night since he was 4 months old!

I have been lucky enough to work for Pax through my engagement, wedding, first born, and now second. Through all these major life events, Pax has encouraged, supported, and celebrated any needed time off, schedule changes, or adjustment periods. Truly the luckiest to work for a company like Pax, there is no one else like ‘em.”
